LIST 97 - 19/10/12 ("Remember this problem? The German language..." - part two)

Guten Abend,

Longstanding viewers will remember that List #52 back in October 2010 featured a bunte Mischung covering a good three decades or so of interesting German language tracks.  Here, then, is a long-overdue sequel - long enough, indeed, for a few elder statesmen such as FSK and Die Ärzte to have got round to recording something again.

There wasn't too much in the way of Neue Deutsche Welle music in the previous collection, but hopefully the appearance of four or five tracks from that broad church of a genre will please its fans.  Not sure whether Niko counts as NDW to everybody, but either way, it's not every day you get to see a PE teacher from Cologne (true!!) having the time of his life to a backing influenced by early-1980s era Sparks.

The title alone of Ich weiss, wo Jochen Distelmeyer lebt has stalker-like qualities to it.  I wonder if the Blumfeld frontman ever did get any unwelcome visitors associated with or influenced by the Oederland track?
