LIST 116 - 17/12/13 (1993 special, part two)
Hello there,
Part two of this 20-years-ago retrospective includes very early (maybe the earliest?) recorded sightings of the likes of Gorky's Zygotic Mynci and Beck.
It also includes the outstanding Mustard Gas by Action Painting!, a record of which Steve Lamacq and Jo Whiley (in)famously said on Radio 1's Evening Session, "If this wasn't on Sarah Records, it would be a great record". I probably got disproportionately irate about that pearl of wisdom at the time, though two decades later it still doesn't read an awful lot smarter. Ah well.
