LIST 128 - 10/12/14 (a third cover versions special)

Hello there,

Confused of Yorkshire this time, as my notes imply that this is just the third ever That Music List cover versions special, which seems way too few to me.  Surely some mistake - demand a recount!

A few of these are well known - the tracks by Saint Etienne, The Stranglers and My Life Story (covering a Stranglers track!) all made the UK top 40, whilst The Delgados made ELO's Mr Blue Sky all their own for a few years.  The Field Mice covering John Cooper Clarke is a real treat that's long overdue an airing on a List, whilst I'm not sure what anyone ought to make of William Shatner giving Thomas Dolby his unique treatment...
