Hello again,

Frightening but true - all of these tracks are 20 years old this year! 

This is the first of at least two, probably more likely three, delves into one of my absolute favourite years for music.  Lots seemed to happen, most of it very good indeed.  I hope these tracks make you feel suitably nostalgic rather than incredibly old, depressed and superannuated.

Some will remember that Eardrum Buzz was nominated by Philip Schofield as the worst song of the year, if not ever, in Smash Hits.  So what better recommendation do you need?

A real pleasure to include Cybotron's Clear, one of the defining statements in techno and still a vital, fresh track 26 years on. SPC ECO, meanwhile, is the new project of Dean Garcia, the other half of Curve. Do please give it a go!
