Hello again,

As promised, having worked through all of the Latitude line-up (more or less), our thoughts now turn to Indietracks, taking place for the third time in the Butterly Railway Musuem near Ripley, Derbyshire this very weekend.

This is my kind of festival - cheap (£55 for the weekend), small, civilised and very friendly. And if the music doesn't grab you, the free rides on the preserved steam trains is bound to!

Once again, the remit was to try to find a track by as many artists performing over the weekend as possible. And one again, this proved successful enough to run into more than one list. Here's the first!

Now, a few people have asked me to go through the line-up of this year's Latitude Festival, including a few who, like me, won't be able to go this time on account of work commitments. No problem, happy to oblige! It's something I'm happy to do, given the work involved has constituted my first exposure to rather a lot of the acts on the two smallest music stages in particular.
