"Just Like Christmas" is the finest festive song ever, and that fact is not open for debate. Most of the other tracks on here run it close, though, including the extraodinary ShiSho, which I managed to miss completely up until now

As promised, here is the second half of my look back over the Sheffield label's first two decades, with tracks old and new once more in evidence. Always a pleasure to give the Aphex Twin, LFO and Autechre oldies in question a dusting off, and some of the new tracks are especially beguiling. Would it be too glib to call Tim Exile a one-man laptronica Cardiacs? Absolutely thrilled to discover him whilst compiling this list.
