LIST 136 - 22/12/14 (1994 special, part one)

Hello there,

Jeeeeust about enough time left this year to share a couple of Lists of things from 20 years ago!

The dependably desperate NME gave over virtually a whole edition to "1994 - the greatest year for music" or some such hyperbole earlier in the year, and then proceeded to substantiate that claim with Britpop and not a right lot else.  There was, of course, rather more going on, as hopefully today's List and next will prove - starting here with the stunning rural psychedelia of Flying Saucer Attack, the start of Johnny Cash's creative rebirth, the cut and paste of Evolution Control Committee, and much else.
